Yarn Braids

My natural hair needed a break and I wanted to try something new so after doing research on some of my fav blogs and of course YT. I decided to give Yarn Braids (Genie locs)  a try . I deep conditioned with my Argan oil moisture condish and also did my Alphogee protein treatment on my hair to prep my hair I also refreshed my hair color with Manic Panics Pill a box (Red) and Rock n Rolla (RED). *****DO NOT USE WOOL YARN it will loc your hair**

My Hair before the yarn braids

 I got the brown for me and the black for one of my daughters she said she wanted her hair done too I will be making bigger parts for her hair.. The red I got was TOO bright so I ended up using the darker red color. I used the method Black Onyx used on YT with the chair to measure the yarn. These braids took forever to do two whole days of braiding LAWD!!!!!!!!I made my own homemade spray to keep my hair moist,I used so water,my oil mix, peppermint oil hello hydration condish I spray my hair down 3 times a day and I oil my scalp when needed.. My hubby loves them they give me a chance to feel like I'm rocking locs with out the hassle.I plan to keep it for a full month two if I can hold out I know I will miss my hair!! but if I take it down it will be to condition a put it right back up in the yarn braids.Excited about the growth that I will see soon!! When it does come doen to the takedown process I plan to load my hair with suave condish and take them down hopefully preventing breakage : )

Laydee Cosmetics (review)

Here is another makeup company that I want to put in ya ear and give a little buzz LAYDEE Cosmetics!!

 I have had these products for some time and I have to say I really reviewed theses shadows!! These pigments came in 5gram jars
Here are the swatches of the colors that I was sent
*Cleopatra- Bright canary yellow
*Christy-Silky cooper shiny penny color
*Mitzi-true blue sea foam color
*Rachel-A pretty ocean wave blue with gold reflects
*Charlotte-Deep dark midnight blue
*Mariah-Bright golden glitter sheen
*Sandy- Another silky golden color

I can say the lighter colors were great to work with and they had a great color pay off all of the colors that I got were ok there were some great ones and some not so great ones.
Charlotte was not a good color to apply the pay off was not good it left color blotches and when I went in to reapply more color or blend it just made a huge darkish blue colored mess.The lighter colors (Shimmers)Mariah,Christy and Sandy were great amazing for highlights,tear duct colors and all around good shadows.I've used the shimmers on my nails,highlights etc GREAT!

I have had the pleasure to review Electric oil burners and scents.These burners work great you can change the strength of the burner by turning the voltage up or down..You can get some that plug right into the sockets like glade plug in's or you can get some that have a cord and a switch to control the intensity of the scents.The burners retail at $12 buy one burner and get two scents for FREE!!! o_0

 Here are the scents that I had a chance to try they all smell great!!!!!! (Butt naked is my fav scent) lol
A couple of drops go a really really long way no need to use the whole bottle at all Sherry offers a number of scents theses are just a few the sizes come in

I have seen burners like this retail at $25 and up I think she has a great deal going and if you have a fav scent let Sherry I'm sure she would be able to work something out : )

These beautiful colors retail for *$10.00 for a 5gram jar,I enjoyed my theses pigments the names are adorable and the site is cute.

None of the eyeshadows we sell or sent you are repackaged from anywhere, we created all of the eyeshadows we sent you in our lab. Tkb (like many other cosmetic companies) is one of our suppliers for ingredients to make our blended eyeshadow. We do have a few unblended pigments available, they are clearly marked on our website as unblended pigments. Repackaging is when someone buys a product and puts it in new packaging without changing it in anyway. We add a base to those unblended pigments to improve adhesion and slip of the product. We found these pigments to be popular so we continued to sell them. We only have 8 unblended pigments in our collection of 50+. We state in our FAQ that the "*" next to the product number means it is an unblended pigment. We do not add any new unblended pigments to our collection and we do not plan to.

Product overview
Unlike similar products, Lit Cosmetics is made with all natural ingredients and prides itself in being water based, alcohol free (alcohol is a big, "no no" in cosmetics), paraben free, and Propylene Glycol free. 
       This product is great it's like a pigment glitter mix that goes on effortlessly it's like glitter and eyeshadow had a love child and LIT was born lol : P  the glitter base holds on to the glitter and makes it pop even more.These glitter go all the way to golden light netural colors to neon bright colors. There are no rules when it comes to makeup throwing glitter in the mix makes this product that much better. I like the little sparkle duster that comes with the kit Just in case you get a little fallout you can just sweep it away with the sparkle duster. There motto is " NO glitter NO GLORY!!!!"

 I use the glitter base with some other glitters that I had thinking that the base would work with other glitters.This base is formulated for these glitters it made my other glitters crumby and hard to apply after a while.
 I tried out the Multi-3 Stack Lit Kit: 3 glitters, 1 oz. Clearly Liquid Glitter Base, a “sparkle duster”, and two brushes—a thin liner and round brush. Very happy and excited to review this product we have ALL seen and heard the buzz about the occ liptars They are amazing!!! OCC lip tars are 100% Vegan and cruelty free no parabens or harsh products,these lip tars contain Hemp oil,Peppermint oil, and vitamin E.
The colors that I have are Traffic (yellow), RX (Blue),Anime(Pink), Harlot (Red),Hoochie (light purple).. Theses lippies are like pure pigment mixed with a little gloss, This product goes on slick and moist and dries to a matte finish .A few drops go a long way not to mention you can mix customize your own colors. (Some of these lipies should only be mixed)The tube is much smaller than I thought it would be and yes this product DOES stain. Applying to much product will make make your lips run,bleed (not sexy).

(OCC Primer) My first airbrush primer I do not own an airbrush machine and was a little sad by not being able to try this primer out but after speaking with several well educated MUA's I was told that yes I could still use it...This product reminds me of the M.O.M (milk of magnesium) I've used that as a primer and a oil controller for some time now feel like the same thing on my skin as well.I will say to much M.O.M will give you a ashy white cast on your skin if not blended well before drying I did not get that from this product.

Milani Cosmetics (review)

I got these products for review I am so freaking happy!! I know for a fact that I will most def. go back and get more baked blushes and the eyeliner pencil.

(Bellissmo Bronze) There are nine shades in this blush collection I only own one at the moment but I will be going to get the rest of the colors soon.I feel in love with this blush Gorgeous orange bronze color with golden shimmers in it can be worn just as a blush or a all over powder.

I am truly  fan!! This smooth as butter waterproof eyeliner is a great buy this eyeliner has been compared to Urban Decay's 24/7 because of the easy no mess effort less application.AGAIN I will go back and get the rest of these colors as well This great find comes in a assortment of colors as well there are five colors black,silver,gold,brown and Aqua. I dare you to give the pencil a try and not fall in makeup love....: )

Lux Addiction (Review)

   Ok I recieved my Lux addiction case in the mail..YAY!!! It took 3 weeks for me to get my case simply because EVERY case is handmade to order.These cases are made with swarovski crystals The style that I have is #376 I have a android phone Huawei Ascen M860. I am truly in love with my phone I honestly did NOT!! Think that I would like this phone case at all my fear was that it would be huge and that the stones would come a lose real quick. I can say that is not the case both of my daughters got to my phone and none of the crystals or objects went any where. They have 200 or more cases to choose from not to mention they can make you a custom case fit just for you. Once you go and get a blinged out case I promise you will not want to go back to a plain jane kinda case.Every crystal and object is secure you also get extra crystals in your package as well.All of my plug in jacks and ports on my phone are easy to get to none of the decorations block any thing on my phone. Since I have had my phone I have turned so many heads and have gotten so many questions about my phone..

Mixed Chicks (Review)

Ok...
Here is my review of "Mixed Chicks" I contacted this company because I heard great things about it and they agreed to send me some products for review. I got these products the day before Mother's day and I was so freaking excited!!! I got the "Mixed Chicks" Leave-in,Shampoo,silk serum,and the deep condish.
I have extremely thick 4 textured hair that gets frizz very easy I'm sure the name fools alot of ppl but don't be fooled it's not just for mixed "ppl" All of these products were very thick and creamy in texture.Ok I used these products by themselves just to see the true results,I also I used theses products on both of my daughters (ladybugs) My oldest has 4 textured hair like mine and my youngest has 3 textured hair.
Pros and cons of all of the products
  *Leave in-
      (PROS) Very creamy,thick moisturizing ,great smell (smells like lotion : ) a little goes a very long way,can be mixed with other products without fear of getting small white balls in your hair
(Cons)Left my hair kinda dry the first time I used it.. After trying it a second time I found that I have to layer this product for it to be really really moisturzied.This is not a bad product I don't hate it I give this product (3 afro puffs outta 5)  
    *Shampoo
(Pros) Creamy,thick,once again a little goes a long way,lathers up GREAT!!, Didn't strip my hair and make it dry,My scalp felt squeaky clean all the buildup was gone,
    (Cons)Nothing negative about this product I really like it (I give this product 4 outta five fluffy afro puffs)
  *Hair Silk
(pros) it gives great shine,a little goes a long way(This worked great on my little ladybugs 3 textured hair great better than my hair..

Deep Condish in my hair

    (CONS) I didn't care for this product that much(I can stick with my coconut oil) too much of this is like using a heavy grease(it can cause a mess : [,It has cones in it if your a natural that wants all natural products don't try this..(I give this product a TWA fro 2 outta 5 for me) But for my youngest it's a 4 (Fluffy fro)out of 5 : )
     *Deep conditioner 
(PROS) LOVE THIS!!!! Gave great slip,helped to detangle fast and carefree, My hair felt super soft and manageable afterwards,Going to be a staple condish in my hair regime 
   (CONS) It has cones as most of these products do but it's not a deal breaker for me..I use what my hair loves and it does love THIS!!! (A big bussin fluffy fro 5!!!!) 


**Out of all of theses products I give them all a strong 4
everybodies hair is different some will like it some will not like I said these thing were great on my youngest Ladybugs hair I will post pics soon of her hair

Why I don't miss the Creamy crack..

      1.Not wanting to scratch my head no matter how much it itches (because I know how bad it's going to burn once that perm gets on my scalp..Feeling like my head has been lit on fire.
      2.Not being active,working out,swimming,outside events etc,being in the rain, Because I know that my edges and the rest of my hair will be thru. (DON"T LISTEN TO THE HYPE.. SOME BLACK PPL DO SWIM..lol

    3. Paying the duckets Perms are not cheap,weaves etc. I save so much money compared to before

   4.Not wanting anybody to touch my hair(Now that I'm natural my husband can't keep his hands out of my hair!! He loves it) When I was a perm head he could NOT!!! touch it at all

*I've been natural for 2 yrs and it's the best thing I ever did I won't let my daughters perm their hair either Curly hair don't care : )
